could save that for the printed editions? i think the paint splatter is a good logo - i like the fact it can be a 'model' 'real' thing, rather than something on paper. there is more movement that way, perhaps more expressive of the theme of 'vibration' motion etc and focuses more distinctly on something coming from music. they are also not the kind of people that are into graffiti - to generalize hugely.
